Mechanical demining and ground preparation

MINETEREX’s multi-purpose EOD robotic systems are widely utilized across a range of humanitarian mine action services:

Mine Clearance Machines for Hazard Neutralization
MINETEREX robotic systems are purpose-built to actively destroy or neutralize explosive hazards. Their capabilities can significantly reduce—or in some cases fully eliminate—the need for follow-up clearance, particularly in situations where the perceived threat is non-existent or where the remaining hazard represents an acceptable residual risk.

Machines for Ground Preparation
MINETEREX systems are commonly deployed to enhance the efficiency of mine clearance operations by removing or reducing obstacles that impede progress. These machines create a safer and more manageable working environment for subsequent assets. Typical tasks include vegetation cutting and clearing, tripwire removal, soil loosening, extraction of metal contamination, removal of building debris, boulders, rubble, defensive wire obstacles, as well as excavation support for deep-search operations.

Technical survey

Depending on operational requirements, MINETEREX machines can support Technical Survey activities, helping to refine and reduce Suspected Hazardous Areas (SHAs) into more clearly defined Confirmed Hazardous Areas (CHAs). Their capabilities may also include preparing access tracks to enable safe entry for follow-on demining operations.

Additionally, MINETEREX mechanical assets can be employed for quality assurance and the verification of previously cleared land, ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained.
